What our members say
You can sharpen your Public Speaking skills and gain tons of confidence, while at the same time, have fun and meet new friends. I don't think there is a better deal to be had. Mercury is well structured, fun and affordable, so drop by and have a nosey, we are looking forward to meeting you!
Jump in! Be crazy! Improvise! Or prepare the speech of your life and change the world!
Mercury gave me a safe place to do it all and to be creative, have incredible ideas and be a better speaker every Wednesday evening. This is a great opportunity for me and besides that, I also enjoy the multicultural atmosphere of the club that I have always really appreciated as someone who likes to get to know other cultures and different ideas. This club is the best place to learn, to grow and - most importantly - to have fun!Krisztina Linka
Toastmasters provides a safe and supportive environment where people can practice delivering speeches. It provides a place to experiment, a place to succeed and a place to improve. It’s also the single most cost-effective way to get speech training. On a personal level, I continue to be an active member of Toastmasters because it helps me communicate more effectively not only as a speaker, but as a business professional. I encourage you to join us!
World Class Speeches! That's what we got last night. Every time I hear a Toastmaster speak I learn something new - how to deal with challenges, how to conquer fear, how to live life more fully. Sometimes the speeches are more informational - an explanation of climate change; an introduction to 3D printing. Learning in 7 minute chunks teaches me about the value of economy.
